Top Quality House Washing, Pressure Washing and Paver Restoration Performed in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania!

This customer had a beautiful home in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania right next to the Susquehanna River! United Restoration and Exterior Cleaning was contracted to perform a House Wash, Deck Cleaning and Paver Restoration. These pavers were installed approximately 10 years prior to our service and were not touched since. There was an extreme build-up of heavy organic growth in addition to some rust staining from various items placed on the paver patio. This project was extremely rewarding and satisfying from start to finish.

Upon completion of the House Wash and Deck Cleaning, it was time to address the Paver Patio. Our process began with utilizing a specific Pressure Washing nozzle to remove old sand from all joints in the Paver Patio. This process is important because our new sand needed sufficient depth to create the necessary joint stabilization to ensure a strong joint. After removing the original sand, we treated the surface with an algaecide to aid in removing the organic growth. We then surface cleaned the entire patio. After all organic growth was removed, we focused our attention on the rust stains that had developed from metal furniture that was sitting on the patio. Once the inorganic stains were addressed, we performed a final neutralization process and surface cleaning to ensure our sealers would adhere to the newly cleaned and sanded paver patio.

When cleaning was complete, we applied a superior joint sand from SEK Surebond to create the necessary joint stabilization. We utilized our vibratory compactor plate to ensure the sand would not settle after sealer application.

The final step in our Paver Restoration project in Selinsgrove was to apply two coats of superior sealer to create a sealed surface with joints as strong as concrete. This sealer prevents organic growth from developing and ensures the surface is protected from the harsh elements of Central Pennsylvania.

This was a fantastic project that gave us an opportunity to provide our customer with superior House Washing and Paver Restoration services. This client also agreed to participate in our annual maintenance program for House Washing, Pressure Washing, and Deck Cleaning services.
